In DHIMET we have a longitudinal and cross cutting line and continuous lubrication of aluminum coils. High versatility hydraulic presses that go from 50 to 200 TM, totally automated, in a continuous process and shackled to the line of cut.
The development of the hydroforming equipment for our reflectors production lines has been performed entirely by DHIMET, achieving a high production capacity. The hydroforming equipment has been developed to meet the variety of the demand of all reflectors for luminaries types: asymmetric hydroformed reflectors for luminaries, parabolic hydroformed reflectors for luminaries, faceted hydroformed reflectors for luminaries, etc.
The hydroforming pressure goes from low, to medium up to high depending on the kind of reflector design.
Afterwards the reflectors are anodized under customers’ specifications as well as the brightness and penetration of the anodized.
The anodizing of reflectors is made by means of a chemical polishing process. The complete process includes the following major phases:
Degrease parts anodized
Washes and rinses anodizing
Chemical polishing
